The Future of Arts & Culture in Calgary

CADA Final Report.png

In March 2020, the spread of COVID-19 resulted in the closing of all non-essential organizations in Alberta. One of the hardest-hit sectors was the collocated live experience (CLX) economy.  The CLX includes those sectors where a minimum of 50% of products or services revenue is dependent on both the live experience (LX) producer and their customer being collocated in the same physical space.

For this collaborative project, our team was tasked with developing a comprehensive Calgary Arts & Culture segmentation model while conducting a global benchmarking study. We also needed to identify the vision for Arts & Culture in Calgary in 2025 and provide 3 strategic priorities that Calgary Arts Development should pursue in the next 24 months.

I got an opportunity to take one of the two designer roles of this project, meaning that I was responsible for the overall look, feel, and visual assets of this report. However, my primary role also revolved around benchmarking and the creation of the segmentation model.
